11 bit studios announced the release date of Frostpunk on Nintendo Switch. On October 19, 2026, the strategy game will also be available on Nintendo Switch 2 thanks to backward compatibility.
Frostpunk combines city-building, strategy, and survival: the player must ensure the existence of an entire community in extreme conditions. The game was first released on PC in April 2018, after which it made its way to consoles and mobile devices.
The Switch version will be another opportunity to face the harsh world of Frostpunk, now in a portable format.
