Watch Dogs: Legion Director's Cut could be released in the first half of 2027, and about 100 Ubisoft Montreal employees are reportedly working on the updated version of the game.
Earlier, insider Tom Henderson reported that Ubisoft was working on an expanded version of 2020's Watch Dogs: Legion. Now Insider Gaming claims that the release is scheduled for the first half of 2027. What exact changes the game will receive and whether new content will appear is still unknown.
Watch Dogs: Legion did not meet Ubisoft's expectations, although it offered an unusual mechanic: players could recruit almost any London resident, from elderly women and taxi drivers to students and office workers. The game also featured familiar characters, including Aiden Pearce and Wrench.
According to Insider Gaming, about 100 Ubisoft Montreal developers are currently working on the Director’s Cut.
