Supermassive Games has unveiled the interactive horror game The Conjuring: Unspoken, set in The Conjuring universe, which will be released on October 13, 2026, exclusively on Netflix and will not appear on PC or consoles.
The game will be a narrative adventure where players will make decisions through dialogue options. The action will unfold in the historic Red Lion Inn in England, with demonologist Francesca Noakes as the main character investigating paranormal events.
The main feature is smartphone control. The main screen shows the virtual environment, while the phone is used as a ghost hunter's tool: an electromagnetic meter, an infrared camera, and a spirit box will help search for traces of the supernatural.
The story will tell of the Cooper family, who arrive at an old inn. Strange events begin to occur: dolls disappear, one of the daughters hears the voice of her deceased mother, and a music box starts playing by itself. After a failed seance, the situation becomes more dangerous.
Players will have to free the family from the demon Viney, who feeds on grief, and the spirit of Florrie from English folklore. The game is connected to The Conjuring film universe from 2013, and knowledge of the films will not be required to understand the plot.
