"Russian Stardew Valley" Returns After Kickstarter Failure - Silicone Heart Demo Released on Steam with Full Fishing
Developers will release the game independently.
In October, Garden of Dreams studio once again reminded players about Silicone Heart. After an unsuccessful Kickstarter campaign, the developers did not give up, but decided to publish the game themselves and prepared a new demo, as well as a special trailer.
The authors addressed the players:
It seems like just yesterday we were arguing whether we would ever manage to get this thing to a demo. And today I just open Steam and see: DEMO AVAILABLE […] For the first ten days or so, we want to calmly give the demo to our Russian-speaking community, see your reactions, collect feedback, and understand where we might have broken something.
The developers said that in this version of Silicone Heart, fishing has become a full-fledged game system — new types of fish have been added, hook control with keyboard and mouse, line physics have been implemented, and more:
Now, during fishing, the player controls the hook, explores beautiful underwater worlds, and hunts various robot fish. Each fish has its own characteristics, behavior, habitat, rarity, and set of animations. Fish patrol the territory, notice danger, flee from the hook, and react differently to damage received.
In addition, a new “canyon story chain” was introduced. This quest line includes several interconnected branches that can be completed in parallel. The sound has also been completely updated and the dialogue system has been reworked — the voice is now synchronized with the current line.
The energy system of buildings has also been updated; now the system is deeper: production buildings receive energy from the general network and consume it during operation. Various devices, such as printers or recyclers, cannot be started if they do not have enough power.
You can add Silicone Heart to your Steam wishlist and get acquainted with the game demo by following this link. The release is scheduled for December 1, 2026.
