The much-talked-about extraction project Arc Raiders has been on the market for almost a year. The Embark Studios team actively released patches and added content, but could not maintain the pace of work for long, and the game's audience gradually decreased.
After that, the developers changed their approach and decided to alter the support model: now they will release two major content updates per year. The first such update, called Frozen Trail (2.0), was released today.
The creators of Arc Raiders are celebrating this event with a promotion — the game has been made temporarily free. Embark Studios published an address to players, including in Russian:
Almost a year ago, Arc Raiders was released. In anticipation of our first anniversary, we are giving raiders the opportunity to play for free from 12:00 MSK on October 8 to 11:00 MSK on October 12!
Arc Raiders has an official localization, but all this time, patch notes and news in the game's Steam community were published in English.
During the free period, players in Arc Raiders will get access to the full version of the game, including fresh content:
