The update is released simultaneously with the paid Dark Arisen expansion, although some of the new features will be available to all owners of the main game. Dragon’s Dogma 2 will feature a new increased difficulty level, and the “Guide” specialization will be added for Pawns. The number of Rift Crystals when interacting with a forgotten Riftstone will be increased from 30 to 90.
Players will also be able to save their current save data and start a new playthrough from scratch. Capcom will fix a number of bugs related to the interface and button assignments.
PS5 Pro will receive official support for Enhanced PSSR. FSR 3 Frame Generation will become available on PC, and owners of NVIDIA RTX graphics cards will get DLSS 4.5 and Multi Frame Generation.
The update continues Capcom's work on Dragon’s Dogma 2's performance. A month ago, the game already received a significant frame rate improvement.
