New Saber game cracked on release day, but the leak didn't stop Clive Barker's Hellraiser: Revival from showing high online numbers on Steam

The developers of Clive Barker's Hellraiser: Revival definitely managed to pique players' interest.

Clive Barker's Hellraiser: Revival was recently released on consoles and PC. The new project from Saber Interactive was launched without the infamous Denuvo protection, so tech enthusiasts were able to crack the game quickly.

In the new horror game, players are invited to take on the role of Aidan, who must unlock the power of the mysterious 'Genesis Configuration' puzzle to save his girlfriend Sunny from the hellish Labyrinth. During his journey, he will encounter 'gory' scenes and various monsters.

According to SteamDB data, the crack did not significantly hinder the successful launch of Clive Barker's Hellraiser: Revival. The game's peak online concurrent players on Steam exceeded 6,000. This might seem like a modest result, considering the online numbers of other games from the studio, such as Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 (225,000) or Halo: The Master Chief Collection (161,000).

However, if we consider only the games published by Saber Interactive itself, then Clive Barker's Hellraiser: Revival would rank second in terms of online players.
