Assetto Corsa EVO will allow players to exit the car and explore the world on foot
Assetto Corsa EVO will feature a Free Roam mode, allowing players to drive freely on German roads, go off-track, and explore locations on foot.
The first available area will be the vicinity of the famous Nürburgring track. A playable demo of the mode will be presented at SimRacing Expo 2026, which will take place from October 16 to 18.
Players will be offered a meticulously recreated 1:1 scale region of Eifel. The developers promise that in the virtual world, players will recognize real-life intersections, terrain, and surroundings.
The 1:1 scale recreation of Eifel is so realistic that if you were to find yourself in this place in reality, you would recognize the intersections, terrain, and surroundings.
The map is planned to expand in subsequent years. Free Roam will be available in both single-player and multiplayer modes.
The update will be released immediately after SimRacing Expo 2026, i.e., after October 18.
