The creators of the truck driver simulator Euro Truck Simulator 2 have presented a new development diary dedicated to the creation of the Coaches DLC, which features playable buses.
This time, SCS Software studio presented 40 minutes of gameplay – they embarked on a bus journey, demonstrating passenger boarding and alighting, as well as a new interface related to passenger transportation.
One of the new features of the DLC is the G-force indicator, which will help assess players' driving style and passenger satisfaction.
The developers warned that sharp turns and sudden braking will cause dissatisfaction – passengers will not remain silent:
If you exceed the passengers' 'comfort limit,' quite loud reactions may be heard from the back of the bus! Passenger satisfaction will affect the overall score at the end of the trip, providing another reason to drive the bus smoothly and comfortably. You will also hear passengers talking and making noise throughout the trip, which helps to liven up the atmosphere of a bus journey while driving on the roads.
