Command & Conquer Fans Are Making a Battlefield-Style Shooter - Firestorm Gameplay Trailer Released

Work on the project is slowly progressing.

Recently, the modding team Totem Arts reminded players about the Firestorm project. This is a large-scale project set in the Command & Conquer universe. Enthusiasts are trying to reimagine C&C: Tiberian Sun as a shooter on the modern Unreal Engine 5.

Chronologically, the events of Firestorm unfold during a reimagined Second Tiberian War. The authors borrowed some elements from the eponymous C&C: Firestorm DLC, as well as C&C: Tiberium Wars.

On the Totem Arts YouTube channel, they presented a selection of gameplay footage:

The main game mode in Firestorm is reminiscent of Conquest from the Battlefield franchise. Players will have to fight for control over key points. These battles will involve not only infantry, but also various models of armored vehicles, as well as combat robots.

The Firestorm project does not yet have a specific release date. The modders only noted that the release is planned for 2026.

Modders share news about Firestorm in their Discord* community “Totem Arts”, which can be joined via the following link.
