Bandai Namco Entertainment recently released a Tekken 8 trailer dedicated to a new character from the third season pass. The developers decided to show a selection of gameplay footage featuring Roger Jr. the kangaroo.
Players are invited to learn the character's main moves, and several additional outfits that the kangaroo can try on were also demonstrated.
Roger Jr. the kangaroo is expected to appear in Tekken 8 on November 16, 2026, but season pass owners will have early access five days before the full release.
Most of the video is dedicated to Roger Jr., but at the end of the trailer, the creators of Tekken 8 also showed a teaser for another fighter – a crossover character from the "Baki the Grappler" franchise. His appearance in the fighting game is expected in early 2027 along with a new arena.
A full trailer for Yujiro is planned to be released on January 17 during the Tekken World Tour event.
Tekken 8 and the Ultimate Edition of the second season are currently on sale on Steam until October 22 with discounts of 40% and 30% respectively.
