Blogger managed to save YouTube channel banned for Clive Barker's Hellraiser: Revival gameplay

Many questions arose regarding YouTube's moderation system.

Recently, French blogger j0nathan complained about losing his YouTube channel. The moderation system flagged his video featuring footage from Clive Barker's Hellraiser: Revival. Although he blurred out sensitive content, it didn't save him.

After this, j0nathan began writing about his situation on social media and even threatened Google/YouTube with legal action. Now, the blogger has reported that his YouTube channel has been restored along with the deleted videos — the service confirmed that there were no rule violations.

j0nathan doesn't understand why YouTube decided to reconsider its decision:

Well, guys, my channel is back! ***, I'm about to cry. I have no idea what exactly worked: my countless calls to YouTube, the media buzz around this story over the past few days, my connections...?

The blogger is very happy that his fight paid off and he was able to prove his innocence:

How happy I am that there is still justice in this world! I was absolutely sure that I had not violated any rules — and my struggle paid off! I specifically blurred all nudity scenes in the game — so how could I have been punished for 'displaying nudity' at all? And most importantly — how can a channel be deleted after just one strike?

j0nathan has now decided to delete the video about Clive Barker's Hellraiser: Revival himself, to avoid getting into similar situations again:
