An update 3.2.3 for Diablo IV will be released soon. Blizzard Entertainment has pre-published the patch notes and talked about the upcoming changes and improvements.
The developers said that this update will include a fix for a bug that allowed a character to use the Vessel of Hatred needle before completing the seasonal quest chain. Because of this, the character lost the ability to complete the quest chain and gain the powers of the Vessels of Hatred.
This bug will no longer occur, but the progress of characters already affected by it has not changed:
For these characters to gain the powers of the Vessels of Hatred, create a new character in the same section (normal/hardcore mode and normal/self-found mode) and complete the seasonal quest chain with them. Then all characters in the selected section will gain access to the powers of the Vessels of Hatred.
In addition, Diablo IV developers have fixed several bugs related to gameplay mechanics, including the Horadric Cube:
- Fixed an issue where players could not pick up Baal's loot when Tyrael appeared after defeating Baal.
- Fixed an issue where players could not replace certain properties in the Horadric Cube.
- Fixed an issue where players did not always receive whole bones when killing monsters while completing the Necromancer class quest 'Call of the Underworld'.
- Various stability, performance, graphics, and interface improvements have been made.
