Cosmic Horror Directive 8020 Will Allow Online Co-op with Friends

On October 19, 2026, Supermassive Games will add online multiplayer to the horror game Directive 8020, allowing players to experience the cosmic story together with friends over the internet.

Several months have passed since the release of Directive 8020, but the game received a less warm reception than the studio's previous projects. However, the developers have not abandoned support for the new title.

Before the release, the developers released a trailer for four-player co-op, which was previously only available locally. Now, users will be able to explore horrors in space together with friends online. Multiplayer will be available on October 19.

Directive 8020 is a sci-fi horror game from the creators of Until Dawn and The Dark Pictures. The crew of a spaceship encounters an alien threat capable of taking human form, and players will have to make decisions that determine who survives.
