Recently, CarX Technologies studio reminded players about their new project called CarX Rally. The developers answered several frequently asked questions and also announced testing.
The creators of CarX Rally said that they aim to create a realistic rally simulator, “to achieve realistic car behavior and make the race result dependent on the pilot’s skills”:
For us, the main thing in rally is how the car feels: how it reacts to the pilot’s actions and behaves on different surfaces. Therefore, we see one of the key features of CarX Rally in its own car physics model. This is what we primarily want to refine with players in early access, and then focus on expanding content.
Players will have the opportunity to create their own tracks thanks to the built-in location editor. In addition, the developers are already laying the groundwork for mod support in CarX Rally - not only in the Steam version, but also on consoles. They are also considering adding a VR mode, but are not yet ready to promise anything.
Currently, the authors of CarX Rally are recruiting participants for closed testing of the PC version. Information about signing up for the playtest is available in the game's VK community.
You can add CarX Rally to your Steam wishlist by following this link. The developers have not yet specified a release date or release window. The game is intended to be launched in “early access” format.
