Microsoft recently announced a new gamepad called the Xbox Nano Controller. It is positioned as the smallest gamepad in the company's history.
According to the creators of the Xbox Nano Controller, the device weighs only 3.5 ounces (approximately 99 grams) and its length is just under 13 centimeters. At the same time, in terms of capabilities, it is a full-fledged gamepad: it includes all 18 standard buttons, so users can expect a familiar layout.
It is noted that the Xbox Nano Controller is equipped with a rechargeable battery and a programmable “Action” button, which can be configured for functions such as taking screenshots, recording gameplay, and other frequently used quick actions. It also supports XBOX Wireless and Bluetooth, so it should easily connect to various compatible devices.
The creators of the Xbox Nano Controller believe that this compact design will be an excellent option for young players, as well as people with small hands or those who need a portable gamepad for gaming on the go.
The Xbox Nano Controller is priced at $49.999 and pre-orders open today; devices will go on sale in November.
