The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt continues to surprise players. Recently, a user under the nickname DetectiveSeeds returned to the CD Projekt RED project and noticed a detail he had missed during previous playthroughs.
In one of the scenes, an intimate scene with two rabbits is briefly shown. DetectiveSeeds became curious why the developers decided to add it to the game.
His question was noticed by developer Paweł Sasko, who worked on the quests for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. According to him, the scene was suggested by his animator friend — he didn't even have to ask her to do anything, she took on the work herself.
This scene, Sasko explains, serves as a hint at the developing relationship between Geralt and Keira Metz.
I was working on this scene and showed it to my friend Lucy, an animator who has rabbits. It was her idea, and I really liked it as a hint at Geralt and Keira's future relationship. I didn't even have to ask her: she animated everything just for fun.
Currently, Paweł Sasko is leading the development of Cyberpunk 2077, and the CD Projekt RED team is also developing a story expansion for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt called Songs of the Past.
