Recently, the creators of Battlefield 6 launched the fifth season. The game added a battle pass, new weapon models, maps, and various improvements. In addition, the monetization system was expanded.
A special Game of the Year edition has been introduced for Battlefield 6, which includes the game itself and various bonuses:
- trusted reserve soldier skin
- bf pro token: battle pass + 25 rank passes, exclusive content
- phantom squad: 4 soldier skins
- shrouded weapon kit
- drop shadow weapon kit
- glimmer melee weapon skin
- snimera vehicle skin
- death's head weapon sticker
- weapon charm and token
- phantom XP booster pack
- ultimate shortcut kit DLC
The most notable bonus from the Battlefield 6 GOTY list is the “ultimate shortcut kit” bonus (or Ultimate Shortcut Kit in English localization). This add-on, which is also sold separately for $30, allows players to instantly master any class.
Thanks to the Ultimate Shortcut Kit, players will be able to unlock the “Deadly Scream” token, the Field Training: Cross Trained rank, as well as already leveled-up weapons and vehicles:
- 7 weapons (100% mastery)
- 2 vehicles (100% mastery)
- Training Path: Frontline Soldier
- 4 gadgets
The composition of upgrade kits for support, engineer, and recon soldiers is similar — players will also receive 100% mastery for various weapon and vehicle models, as well as gadgets and “training paths.”
Now, players complain, the 50th mastery level in Battlefield 6 means nothing anymore — a person can donate and get everything instantly. The practice of selling “Ultimate Shortcut Kit” packs for Battlefield franchise games is not new; such DLCs were also released for previous installments.
