After 13 years, the actor who played Trevor has stopped avoiding GTA V - now even Steven Ogg is waiting for GTA VI's release
Steven Ogg, who played the charismatic Trevor in Grand Theft Auto V, is known in the gaming community for his peculiar behavior. He doesn't hide his anger when asked about his work on this character, leading to the belief that the actor hates his character and the game as a whole (although there is also a theory that he behaves this way because he is embodying Trevor's persona).
Another actor, Ned Luke — who played Michael De Santa — is his complete opposite. He streams GTA Online and actively interacts with GTA V fans. This year, during one of their joint appearances, Ned snapped at Steven Ogg and told him: "Play the ****** game so you know what you're talking about. If you weren't a ****** hipster, you would have played [GTA V]."
Later, Ned Luke announced "The Final Mission" — a playthrough of GTA V before the release of GTA VI. He has now been joined by Steven Ogg himself, who has finally fully familiarized himself with the game:
In a recent episode of "The Final Mission," Steven Ogg made a suggestion that many GTA V fans certainly didn't expect to hear — he suggested to Ned Luke that they play GTA VI together:
Ned, I think we should do this again when GTA 6 comes out, because, obviously, it's going to be ****** so different [from GTA V].
Further in the conversation, Steven asked Ned Luke, "Are you in touch with them [Rockstar]?" to which the actor replied, in character as Michael, "Well, I could tell you, but then I'd have to kill you."
Grand Theft Auto VI is scheduled for release on November 19, 2026, on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S consoles.
