Sony has updated the official GTA VI page, detailing support for Tempest 3D Audio, fast loading, and DualSense controller features, but made no mention of a 60 FPS mode or PS5 Pro advantages.
The company once again used the slogan "The game plays best on PS5" and added a section titled "How innovative features enhance the Grand Theft Auto VI experience on PlayStation 5." It mentions haptic feedback, adaptive triggers, and the controller's built-in speaker. These features are intended to deepen immersion in the game world, although they are already familiar to console owners.
The lack of information about a performance mode raises questions: if Rockstar had managed to achieve 60 frames per second, it would have been a significant selling point for the game.
Earlier rumors suggested that developers were actively optimizing GTA VI and that the PS5 Pro would be able to provide a higher frame rate. It is likely that Rockstar was unable to achieve such a result, and a similar mode will only appear on the PS6.
