Classic JRPG Tales of Eternia Gets Updated Graphics and Modern Enhancements

Almost a decade after its original release, Tales of Eternia returns as a remaster on seven platforms.

Tales of Eternia Remastered by Bandai Namco has been released on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PS4, and PC, featuring updated graphics and a range of modern enhancements.

The game is considered one of the best entries in the Tales series. Reid, Farah, and Meredy find themselves together under various circumstances, then embark on a journey that intertwines their destinies. The heroes must confront a large-scale conflict to which they initially had no connection. The other characters are also revealed through their own stories.

In addition to updated graphics, the remaster includes objective markers, an accelerated auto-battle mode, and the option to disable random enemy encounters. These changes simplify world exploration and make the classic JRPG more convenient for a modern audience.

To celebrate the game's release, Bandai Namco published a launch trailer. Almost 25 years have passed since the original release.
