The crowdfunding campaign for the Plants vs. Zombies: The Board Game board game has already raised almost 50 million rubles

There are 20 days left until the end of the crowdfunding campaign for the cooperative board game Plants vs. Zombies: The Board Game, and thanks to generous users, the team has already managed to raise an impressive amount and quickly unlock additional goals.

On October 14, Mantic Games launched a campaign for Plants vs. Zombies: The Board Game, a tabletop adaptation of the famous video game Plants vs. Zombies, on the Kickstarter crowdfunding platform.

The main goal of this event was to raise $33,254 (2,775,243 rubles), but if you look at the aforementioned crowdfunding site now, you will find that the team has already collected $589,844 (49,225,987 rubles).

Thanks to additional funds, the developers will now be able to add new cards, stickers, random events, a Gargantuar miniature, and other important things to the project. All sponsors will receive two mini-expansions for free as a bonus — "Pool Party" and "Pirate Seas," which will add new zombies, plants, and levels to the game.

The regular edition of Plants vs. Zombies: The Board Game can be pre-ordered for $54 (4506 rubles), the deluxe edition for $100 (8345 rubles), and the deluxe edition with the night expansion for $167 (13,937 rubles). The game is expected to ship in September 2027.

Plants vs. Zombies: The Board Game is a cooperative board game with miniatures for 1–4 players. Hordes of zombies try to break into the gamers' house, shambling in straight rows across the lawn to the front door.

It is up to the players to establish defensive lines of specialized plants and use all sorts of tools to defend themselves and destroy the annoying undead. The project includes a campaign based on various levels, and the difficulty of the gameplay depends on the number of participants.
