GTA VI Developers Showed a "Black Mark" to Hacker Cyberleek? A Threat from Rockstar Was Seen in the Trailer
Some players are sure that the developers left a "signal" for the hacker.
Until recently, a hacker (or group) under the nickname Cyberleek actively published Grand Theft Auto VI gameplay footage online and also threatened to leak a build with the full story. However, he then reconsidered his decision and abandoned further leaks.
Soon after, Rockstar Games released the Grand Theft Auto VI trailer. Fans began to examine the footage, and a moment with a green car attracted attention. Those who closely followed the leaks immediately recognized it — it appeared in Cyberleek's videos.
In the trailer, this model can be seen at the 0:46 mark — the driver is trying to escape from the police. Players believe that the appearance of this car is not a random coincidence. It is assumed that in this way, the developers from Rockstar Games sent a warning signal to Cyberleek to prevent further possible leaks.
Discussion participants recalled how in one of the Grand Theft Auto VI trailers, the opening scene with Jason began with him saying he was fixing some leaks (in the Russian subtitles, the phrase “fixing some leaks” was translated as “just fixing the roof,” so some Russian-speaking players might have missed the reference). During that period, hackers were leaking internal studio materials.
Grand Theft Auto VI is scheduled for release on November 19, 2026, on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S consoles.
