Football Manager 27 to expand character editor and bring back important feature

Football Manager 27 will feature an expanded coach editor, more clothing and accessory options, color customization, and the ability to create a manager in a wheelchair.

Sports Interactive has revealed new details about Football Manager 27. The character editor will feature more appearance options, and the ability to select favorite clubs to indicate your manager's football preferences will return.

Another important innovation will be larger and more legible fonts and improved interface scaling. This should enhance gameplay convenience, as the interface was one of the notable issues in Football Manager 26.

Previously, the developers discussed improvements to navigation and the interface, as well as changes to match atmosphere. The next material will be dedicated to the 2D match engine, in-game editor, and other new features.

Football Manager 27 will be released on November 10, 2026, on PC, PS5, Xbox, and mobile devices. The physical edition for PS5 will go on sale later on November 20.
