The studio that developed the crime action game Samson went bankrupt, employees were left without salaries - media

In early 2026, Samson: A Tyndalston Story was released on PC via Steam. The crime action game from the developer of Just Cause received "mixed" reviews — players had complaints about the technical state of the project and its gameplay mechanics.

After the release, the developers began to release patches for Samson: A Tyndalston Story with new content and improvements, and later introduced console versions. It seems that even after this, the game's sales were unsatisfactory.

Recently, Breakit reported that Liquid Swords studio faced financial problems; developers were not paid their salaries:

The struggling game development company Liquid Swords has not paid salaries for several months. Now bankruptcy has become a fact, which means that the state will intervene and pay compensation to almost 30 employees.

The bankruptcy trustee hopes to find a buyer for the studio, but players doubt that anyone will be interested in acquiring Liquid Swords.
