The viral wolf life simulator Family Time made it into the top 50 most wishlisted Steam games and was copied - it was turned into a friend-slop

Indie developer sgthale publishes teasers for Family Time online and recently released a demo. The game attracted attention and quickly entered the top 50 most wishlisted games on Steam.

In Family Time, the main character lives in the forest with a fertile she-wolf: the family gradually grows, and the player must take care of all the cubs (there can be very, very many of them).

sgthale is gradually developing gameplay mechanics, for example, he taught the mother wolf to help track animals during hunting. He also revised the 'reproduction' mechanism: now the she-wolf will not give birth to cubs if the hero has not slept with her.

The concept of Family Time attracted a lot of attention not only from ordinary players but also from some developers. Recently, users noticed a page for an imitation game on Steam.

Hilly Games studio showed a cooperative 'Family Time'. According to the plot, the hero gets into a car accident with friends and finds himself in the wilderness with a mother fox. The developers also offer to create a large family; this 'Family Time' uses similar gameplay mechanics.

The developer of Family Time reported that he has already contacted Valve and sent a DMCA strike on the game (for copyright infringement). It is expected that the imitator will soon be removed from the store.
