The Invincible developers showed extraction-survival about fighting fiery anomalies - Into the Fire gameplay trailer

Players will have to save people who will help unlock new opportunities for the protagonist.

Starward Industries, previously known for the "walking simulator" The Invincible, is now preparing a new project called Into the Fire. A trailer with gameplay footage recently appeared online.

Into the Fire is positioned as an extraction project where players will have to rescue survivors, rationally use scarce resources, survive in a world with fiery anomalies, and "carve escape routes through ash and lava before the island buries them."

Players in Into the Fire will have a HUB-base: "it's not just a menu, but a living settlement shaped by the people you rescue." Survivors will bring skills, knowledge, and opportunities — from new gear to more effective firefighting equipment. According to the developers, the HUB will "grow or crumble depending on who you manage to save."

You can add Into the Fire to your Steam wishlist via this link. The game does not yet have a specific release date, but a release window of 2026 has been indicated. The developers plan to launch the game in early access.
