Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 Hacked 5 Days Before Release

Some have already highly praised the new campaign.

The full release of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 is scheduled for October 23, 2026. However, developers traditionally offer those who pre-ordered early access to the single-player campaign.

Soon, a hacker under the nickname r4v3n announced the release of an "offline fix" for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4, which will allow launching the campaign without an internet connection (this is not a hack of the entire game). He clarified that he is "not returning" to hacking activities, but "just wanted to share a quick fix for single-player, as it's easy to do."

R4v3n himself does not plan to hack the multiplayer and other modes of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4, but he admits that other hacking groups might take on this task.

According to early buyer reviews on Steam, this year's Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 campaign turned out to be surprisingly good. Some members of the pirate community admit that they are interested specifically in the campaign and would be willing to buy the single-player mode separately for, say, 15-20 dollars, but are not willing to pay 70 dollars for the full game — they are not interested in multiplayer and other content.
