Demon's Souls runs on PC at 60 FPS, while God of War Ragnarok still blinds players - PlayStation games tested on KyTyPS5 emulator

Some experimenters are trying to emulate God of War Ragnarok as well.

PlayStation 5 emulation is developing rapidly. Over the past months, players have gone from simply launching the Demon's Souls remake by Bluepoint Games to playing it at a high frame rate.

Recently, Geralt Benchmarks shared the results of a test of the Demon's Souls remake on an emulator: he managed to get an average of 60+ FPS, and with frame generation activated, 120 FPS can be achieved. The game was launched on a PC with an MD Ryzen 7 9800X3D processor and a GeForce RTX 5070 graphics card:

This is a build of the KytyPS5 emulator by chenxiao07, version v20261017. DLSS frame generation can be used, but upscaling is not yet available. The maximum resolution at the moment is 1440p. Stutters still occur quite often, and this version is far from perfect, but the emulator is improving very quickly.

God of War Ragnarok has already been released on PC, but some tech enthusiasts are trying to run this game on an emulator as well. Recently, Video Game Esoterica drew attention to one such test: the game runs at 10 – 25 FPS, but many graphical bugs occur in gameplay — bright flashes appear.

Video Game Esoterica also showed that Astro Bot can run on PC with a stable frame rate of ~60 FPS.
