This summer, a developer under the nickname SG4S released a sci-fi horror game called Wane’s on PC via Steam. Essentially, it's another game in the spirit of the Five Nights at Freddy's franchise.
In Wane’s, players have to monitor animatronics through cameras, distract them, and survive. The story unfolds in 2007, centering on Carter Harris, who recently became a night watchman. He must look after an abandoned animatronic factory: "Investigating what happened after the mysterious closure of Wane's Burgers many years ago, you will uncover disturbing secrets while trying to survive the night."
Recently, the creator of Wane’s announced that he plans to remove the game from Steam:
I no longer plan to update the game. I spend too much time on something I'm no longer interested in. It is currently in an unplayable state — many mechanics do not work as they should. I have tried to fix it many times, but it seems the problems could not be resolved.
The developer did not specify when exactly he plans to remove the game from the store. However, shortly after publishing the announcement, he still released a patch fixing interaction with one of the objects, and also announced a fix for a bug that could lead to the game freezing.
The Wane’s page on Steam is available at the following link. The game is distributed for free, but there's a catch — its "profile features" are limited, meaning the game does not yet appear in certain profile showcases, and it will not count towards the total number of products in the library.
