PlayStation 5 Console Exclusive Launched on Xbox Series X - Marvel's Spider-Man Gameplay Shown

Under certain conditions, Insomniac Games' title can also be enjoyed on Microsoft's console.

Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered is available not only on PlayStation, but also on PC. This allowed tech enthusiasts to run the game on a competitor's console.

Recently, a developer under the nickname @DaddyPrinceWorld reported on running Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered on the Xbox Series X|S console. This is not a 'native port' — the PC version is launched on the console. This was done using 'developer mode', which allows players to install and run applications outside the Xbox Store ecosystem.

In developer mode, explains @DaddyPrinceWorld, available memory is limited — approximately 5 GB of RAM and video memory, so it's not possible to play Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered at maximum graphics settings with a high frame rate. However, if you lower the settings, you can achieve playable performance.

@DaddyPrinceWorld demonstrated that the FPS counter in Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered can show over 120 frames. But during active gameplay (fights and web-slinging), the frame rate is very unstable, ranging from 20-60 FPS; the game can also crash.
