Sega and Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio have shown the first act of Stranger Than Heaven, which begins in 1915. The main character, Makoto Daito, flees the USA to Japan, escaping racism and hostility, with Snoop Dogg as the ship's captain.
Upon arriving in Kokura-era Japan, Daito faces rejection even from his own compatriots. The story will touch upon the conflict between the desire for modern development and traditional views, and the hero will have to face harsh reality.
Later, Daito will become a music producer and arrange impressive performances. The game features a combat system.
Stranger Than Heaven will be released on January 15, 2027, on Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC.
