Hobby World publishing house announced that in early 2027 it plans to release "Children of Blood" — a new small campaign for "Arkham Horror: The Card Game: Second Season," in which investigators will have to investigate mysterious attacks and face a threat capable of turning them into monsters themselves.
Participants will be able to unravel the mystery of three scenarios. They will have to search for clues, track down monsters, and gradually unravel the story of bloody incidents. All three scenarios are connected by a common plot, but each of them can be played separately.
Blood tokens will appear. They are added to the chaos bag and complicate skill checks: by drawing such a token, the participant will have to draw another one. And if the check fails, the blood token can become attached to the investigator. The more of them accumulate, the more dangerous some contact cards and enemies will become.
It will be possible to try different difficulty levels. Not only the composition of the chaos bag depends on the chosen difficulty. In scenarios, the properties of locations, opponents, and even sets of contact cards can change. For example, some streets of Arkham will appear to players at dawn or dusk (and they will behave differently).

In addition, by completing the campaign, you will be able to unlock a special reward card and use it in other adventures. It will allow you to become stronger, move faster, and drain health from enemies.
