Ayaneo provided an update on Pocket Advance, Pocket Block, and Pocket Micro 2 shipments
Thanks to a letter from Ayaneo, fans of handheld devices learned when to expect Pocket Micro 2 shipments, how the assembly of the next batch of KONKR Pocket Advance is progressing, and when KONKR Pocket Block shipments will begin.
Ayaneo has sent out emails to users containing information on the progress of shipments and delivery volumes for the KONKR Pocket Advance, KONKR Pocket Block, and Pocket Micro 2 handheld devices.
The developers reported that approximately 90% of all pre-orders for the Pocket Advance have been shipped, with most of the outstanding orders being for the "onyx ice" color model — the company had warned during the initial pre-orders that devices in this color scheme would be among the last to be sent to consumers.
Ayaneo also announced that its production team is already scheduling the assembly of the next batches of Pocket Advance devices. Shipments of the KONKR Pocket Block will start this week (meaning, most likely, from October 19 to 23).
Unfortunately, the good news ends there. Ayaneo concluded the email by stating that while it initially planned to begin shipping Pocket Micro 2 devices in late October, its "controller supplier delivered components a week later than expected".
This has shifted the shipping date for these devices to early November. All new orders placed in the coming weeks are expected to be shipped by mid-November.
