Game Freak is winding down support for Beast of Reincarnation. Only one big patch will be released

The developers are ending active development: after the last patch, the studio will only be engaged in critical fixes.

Game Freak is concluding the release of major updates for Beast of Reincarnation: the patch scheduled for October 19 will be the last one as part of the game's regular support, although the studio will continue to fix critical bugs.

The developers clarified that this does not mean a complete abandonment of the project. If serious bugs and technical problems are found, the team is ready to release the necessary fixes. Players are encouraged to report issues through customer support.

Beast of Reincarnation was released on August 4, 2026, on PC and consoles, opening a new chapter in the history of Game Freak, previously known primarily for the Pokémon franchise. The game received moderate reviews: the average score on Metacritic is 71/100 from critics and 6.2 from users.

The last major patch will conclude the planned period of active game development. The studio has not yet revealed its contents.
