Fan-made Fallout 3 Remake on Fallout: New Vegas Engine with Ray Reconstruction and Neural Rendering Showcased
Modern technologies help fans update their favorite games.
Recently, a modder announced work on a unique remake of Fallout 3 based on the Fallout: New Vegas engine. He is improving the Tales from Separate Wastelands modification, which combines the two games, using tools for creating quick remasters, NVIDIA RTX Remix
A modder under the nickname Youtube Viewer published a short video demonstrating his developments for «Fallout TTW with RTX Remix» — he uses ray reconstruction, as well as neural rendering in his project:
I'm working on combining RTX Remix, Ray Reconstruction, and neural rendering with Tale of Two Wastelands, using Nuclear Sunset as the base for the mod build. I'm interested to see how these rendering technologies change familiar locations, and I wanted to share the current state of the project.
According to Youtube Viewer, he has been busy for the past few weeks «bringing these components together», and the modder has also been integrating, configuring, and testing the technologies. He is currently fixing rendering issues and plans to improve performance.

This is not an original project; other modifications are involved in the work. Youtube Viewer thanked the authors of Tales from Separate Wastelands and other mods and tools that he uses in his build.
