ARC Raiders and The Finals to get screen adaptations. Embark Studios will reveal game worlds from a new perspective

Embark Studios considers the world of ARC Raiders a suitable basis for films and TV series and intends to participate in their creation, maintaining control over the overall vision of the franchise.

Executive Producer Alexander Grøndal admitted that the game's plot largely remains in the background, giving way to stories that arise between players. At the same time, he called the world of ARC Raiders "fertile ground for telling all sorts of stories" and expressed interest in what would come of this idea.

The studio is looking for partners it can trust and who understand the essence of the game. However, Embark does not intend to interfere with the work of film crews, preferring to "let masters do what they do best." The company will ensure that the adaptations align with its vision for the franchise.

The Finals will also receive similar adaptations. Meanwhile, Embark is testing a PvE mode for ARC Raiders, which will allow players to fight AI-controlled enemies without fear of other players. According to Grøndal, the team wants to help those who love the game but are frustrated by PvP:

If you like the game you're playing, and we just remove the annoyances that other players give you, that's pretty simple to try and implement.
