Helldivers 2 authors addressed fans in Russian and talked about the new anti-cheat - Denuvo opponents don't need to worry

Denuvo makes not only DRM, but also anti-cheat for games, but the developers decided to use a different solution.

In October, the developers of the cooperative shooter Helldivers 2 presented update 7.2.0 "Devoid of Liberty". They talked about changes and improvements, and also warned about a change in anti-cheat.

The announcement from the Arrowhead Game Studios team to players on Steam is presented in different languages, including Russian:

Super-Earth is pleased to inform you of the latest changes for Helldivers on the front lines! With the introduction of Easy Anti-Cheat and the "Aim of Power" merit, as well as weapon and stratagem improvements, there's entertainment for everyone!

According to the developers, Easy Anti-Cheat has been added, as well as "additional protective measures" that increase its effectiveness and help better ensure fair play.

Some other changes and improvements:

  • The bug strain that spawns Bile Warriors, Spewers, and Scavengers, which could previously randomly activate during a mission, is now a separate strain. Its activity will be controlled by game masters; when it is active, it will be displayed separately, similar to other strains like "Breaching," "Spore," and others.
  • Fixed an issue where the TD-220 "Bastion" main gun would trigger a voice line requesting a team reload.
  • The 40-K "Plasma Cannon" now correctly destroys the side walls of team bunkers.
  • Fixed an issue where Hellbombs could not be planted on one side of the "Observer" spire target.
  • Fixed an issue where a Bile Titan could pass through the cave ceiling in some passages of one of the Spore Lung locations.
  • Various balance changes to stratagems and weapons, for example, the "PLAS-39 Accelerator Rifle" now reloads slightly faster.
