The horror game received a free update with online co-op, where players can distribute locations and vote on decisions.

The horror game Directive 8020 has received a free update with online multiplayer for five players. Cross-play is not supported, and each participant needs their own copy of the game.

Support for The Dark Pictures Anthology series continues, despite recent layoffs of more than 70 Supermassive Games employees.

In co-op mode, players can distribute different locations among themselves and vote on decisions. In Custom Mode, each turn proceeds sequentially, while in Round Robin, a limited time is allotted for actions, after which control is passed to another participant.

The update also adds 13 new omens, warning of future events and helping to survive. A separate add-on offers retro-futuristic team equipment.
