New Cyberpunk 2077 Co-op Trailer - Modders Announce Open Beta

Modders have provided for optional PvP.

Cyberpunk 2077 is a single-player game, but some fans would like to explore Night City with friends. Thanks to the modding community, such an opportunity will soon appear.

Recently, the creators of the NightCoop project, a cooperative modification for Cyberpunk 2077, reminded about themselves. According to the modders, it will support up to 8 players with optional PvP: "The campaign takes place in one common world: the same quests, the same cutscenes, the same shootouts, and everyone has their own V. And when you want, the host enables PvP."

The NightCoop developers said that the current version will support Windows OS ("other systems are under development").

Quest progress, NPC life, and city state are from the host's save, and other players, as "guests," enter their world. Participants of the co-op session will be able to vote for story choices in dialogues, and there will also be an option to ride in the same car.

Combat will be shared: "Everyone sees the same enemies, the same shots, grenades, and deaths. Damage from any player counts."
