Recently, Croteam studio and publisher Devolver Digital released the first teaser for Serious Sam: The Third Encounter. It has been 24 years since the original release of The Second Encounter.
From the perspective of the franchise's chronology, this installment is a direct continuation of "The Second Coming":
Not a prequel. Not a side story. A full-fledged sequel. This time, Sam will strike at the very heart of Mental's Horde — and he is absolutely serious.
Serious Sam: The Third Encounter can be played not only solo, but also with friends in a full cooperative mode.
Judging by the list of localizations, Russian voice acting is planned for the shooter. The game description also noted that the development is handled by "the same madmen" who created Serious Sam: The First Encounter and Serious Sam: Siberian Mayhem.
