Athanasia horror developers offered an alternative to Dino Crisis
The horror game Athanasia by Momentum Games, inspired by Dino Crisis, has been released in early access on Steam, where the heroine survives among prehistoric predators in an abandoned research complex in South America.
While Capcom is in no hurry to bring back Dino Crisis, the horror game Athanasia, inspired by the classic genre and offering battles with dinosaurs in an abandoned research complex, has been released in early access on Steam.
Players will take on the role of researcher Carmen Flores, sent to a mysterious facility in South America. People are disappearing there, unexplained phenomena are occurring, and prehistoric predators have flooded the corridors. The heroine must uncover the secret of the experiments and survive.
The developers from Momentum Games were inspired by Dino Crisis and System Shock. In addition to battles, exploring the complex, finding secret passages, collecting equipment, and audio recordings from former employees play an important role.
Athanasia appeared on PC in early access. Development continues and the full release date is still unknown.
