voices38 deleted Reddit account after court decision allowing disclosure of identity - but v0ices38 appeared

It recently became known that the court still allowed Denuvo representatives to try to reveal the identity of the hacker known as voices38 through services like Steam or Reddit. Soon, members of the pirate community noticed the deletion of the “voices38” account, from which he published information about hacks on Reddit and answered players' questions.

It seems that voices38 is not going to completely disappear into the shadows. A suspiciously similar nickname “v0ices38” (the letter “o” was replaced with the number 0) was noticed on a specialized hacker forum. This is not a new account; the hacker's publications are preserved in the history, and now the author field indicates the nickname “v0ices38”.

Players assume that the cracker decided to change his pseudonym. A similar account also appeared on the Reddit forum: it appeared on October 21, the day the old voices38 account disappeared. It is assumed that in this way the hacker “shook off the tail” — players believe that Denuvo will now require a new data request if they want to reveal the identity of “v0ices38”.

voices38 is one of the most famous Denuvo crackers in games. He practices an “old school” approach, meaning his cracks are a full-fledged bypass of the protection, not a DRM bypass as in the case of the hypervisor method. In recent months, he has cracked many new (and not so new) games with Denuvo and recently pleased players with the cracking of two games from the famous Kimetsu no Yaiba (Demon Slayer) franchise at once.
