Players will travel to futuristic Los Angeles and become Blade Runners — special police agents whose duties include finding and “eliminating” escaped artificial humans — replicants.
Participants will need to use the ESPER system to scan crime scenes, follow clues, and interrogate suspects, as well as decide which truth to pursue, which orders to obey, and when to take a risk for their own interests.
At a crucial moment, the player will have to decide what to do with what they have uncovered and convince others to follow their lead. Blade Runner 2049: The Board Game is likely to be released in 2027.
