Blizzard is Developing StarCraft II Remastered - Inside Scoop
Translated with AI from the Russian original.
Now RTS fans are awaiting a full announcement.
Blizzard Entertainment has already released StarCraft: Remastered, Diablo II: Resurrected, and the infamous Warcraft III: Reforged. It seems the developers also have plans for the real-time strategy game StarCraft II.
Recently, a screenshot of an email went viral in the StarCraft community. Some players claim it mentions “StarCraft II Remastered” (which has not yet been announced).
Blogger Ahmad “SCHistorian” Ali noticed this and shared what he heard from his sources — allegedly, something big related to StarCraft II is being prepared:
I have a reliable source — information from a high-ranking Blizzard employee: a larger team has been allocated to StarCraft II. Allegedly, something big is to be expected in 2027 — possibly a new expansion, but StarCraft II: Remastered is more likely.
Soon after, SCHistorian reported that another “reliable source” contacted him and said: “based on the information I have, [StarCraft II remaster] does not seem implausible.”
These sources have not yet provided any additional details.
