Will GTA VI Make It to Switch 2? Interesting Vacancies Noticed Online

Double Eleven, the studio that ported Red Dead Redemption to Nintendo consoles, is looking for a Lead C++ Programmer and a Low-Level Graphics Specialist with experience on Switch and Switch 2.

GTA VI might be released on Nintendo Switch 2: Double Eleven, the studio responsible for porting Red Dead Redemption to Nintendo consoles, is looking for programming and low-level graphics specialists.

As noticed by GoNintendo, the company has opened vacancies for a Lead C++ Programmer and a Lead Low-Level Graphics Specialist. One of the advertisements lists experience with Switch and Switch 2 as an advantage – this will be useful when porting large games to less powerful hardware.

The vacancies do not specify a particular project. Red Dead Redemption 2 is named as another possible candidate for a port.

Earlier, Nintendo of America President Devon Pritchard stated that the release of GTA VI on Switch 2 depends on Take-Two Interactive and Rockstar Games. Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition has already been released on the first Switch, and the decision to port the new installment rests with the rights holders.
