Owlcat said goodbye to BioWare - The Expanse: Osiris Reborn authors published a touching video

BioWare's creativity inspires the Owlcat Games team.

BioWare recently announced its closure. Owlcat Games, which is currently working on Warhammer 40,000: Dark Heresy and the sci-fi title The Expanse: Osiris Reborn, published a new video on social media.

The developers noted that the studio inspired them — some team members might never have entered the gaming industry if not for BioWare's projects:

BioWare has always inspired us, and it's hard for us to say goodbye to our idols. Thank you for everything. Many of us would not have ended up in the gaming industry if not for your legacy.

You are to become a mercenary of the Pinkwater security company, whose short respite on the asteroid Eros quickly turns into chaos. An unexpected quarantine at the station not only cut you off from the outside world but also unwittingly drew you into a cosmic-scale conspiracy. To survive, you will have to quickly adapt to the situation, gather and unite a disparate crew into a real team, and take command of the most advanced ship in the entire Solar System.
