Grounded 2 from Xbox Game Studios received a high rating from PS5 owners – 9.56/10 in the PlayStation Store. Update 0.6 Rot and Ruin has already been released on PC and consoles, improving performance and reducing game size.
Developers from Obsidian Entertainment released a major update with a new Woodpile location, additional creatures, and a boss. Players also received higher-level equipment, new base decorations, collectibles, and the living mount Beetle Potato.
The authors fixed many bugs and ported the game to Unreal Engine 5.7, claiming significant performance improvements. On PC, Grounded 2's size was almost halved, from 37 GB to 18 GB, and on consoles, the game now takes up 300 MB less space.
