RTX 4070 Graphics Card Works Wonders with Bloodborne. Fans Show Sony What Players Are Waiting For

A fan-made PC port of Bloodborne with DLSS Frame Generation delivers over 200 frames per second on a GeForce RTX 4070, while the game is locked at 30 FPS on PS4.

A fan-made PC version of Bloodborne with NVIDIA DLSS Frame Generation support delivers over 200 FPS on a GeForce RTX 4070, showcasing the game's capabilities, which are limited to 30 frames per second on PS4.

The MxBenchmarkPC channel tested the unofficial Super Medo port. In 4K resolution with DLAA, the game shows an average of about 40 FPS. With DLSS in Quality mode, performance exceeds 100 FPS, and in Performance mode, it reaches 120–130 FPS.

At 1440p with DLAA, Bloodborne delivers about 130 FPS, and at 1080p, up to 220 FPS. In comparison, the original version on PS4 runs at 30 FPS and suffers from smoothness issues and uneven frame delivery.

This is an unofficial solution, not a port from FromSoftware. Enthusiasts are also working on other improvements, including path tracing. Players will have to rely on their own efforts: neither the developers nor Sony have reported plans to update Bloodborne for a long time, let alone a sequel.
