Final Fantasy Resonance was recently released on consoles and PC. Square Enix traditionally protected the new product with the sadly famous Denuvo.
Hackers had previously learned to crack and bypass it, but recently there have been problems. For example, Star Wars: Galactic Racer, released in early October, used an improved version of Denuvo — the usual method of bypassing DRM using a hypervisor did not work.
But users report that Final Fantasy Resonance, apparently, decided to use the previous version of Denuvo, so the protection did not last very long.
A hacker under the nickname ARTIFACT announced the release of a 'crack' for the game. This is not yet a full-fledged hack, like voices38 — ARTIFACT bypasses protection using a hypervisor. An experimental version of the 'crack' is currently available and the hacker admits that players may encounter BSOD.
ARTIFACT was absent for some time. He explained that it was necessary to improve the tools: 'Denuvo has made changes that require additional work before releasing new releases'.
The first reviews of Final Fantasy Resonance on PC in Steam are 'extremely positive'. The game's rating is 96% after the first two thousand reviews.
